Hall
Our beautiful Hall, built in 1480, serves three meals a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. The meals are on a pay-as-you-go basis, which means you can eat as much or as little in Hall during your time at Magdalen. Formal Halls also take place in Hall four times a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday), costing between 7 and 10 pounds. On Sundays, Hall does not offer breakfast or lunch, but fear not, our JCR catering team puts on brunch every Sunday morning and our welfare team hosts JCR tea every Sunday afternoon. Old Kitchen Bar (OKB)
The OKB is not just the place where the Entz team puts on the biweekly college bops (big organised party), but also a great place to grab a snack. The OKB serves lunch in the form of paninis/baguettes plus a salad starting at £3.30, and you can even create your own paninis choosing from a variety of topics. Between the main meal hours, the OKB also offers the infamous OKBizza (£4 for a 12″ Margherita with toppings available at 80p each) which can be a lifesaver if you have missed the hall opening hours or don’t want to break the bank with Dominos.
